When we launched in May 2018, we offered 50 fitted-sheet-only combos on our Inidegogo crowdfund. Our fitted sheets are awesome: they have thick elastic running around the whole way (not just on the corners), and they have extra deep pockets to fit up to 20" thick mattresses.
We figured if we had 1,000 backers order sheets, maybe 5% wouldn't want a top sheet, so we thought 50 was a good number to make available.
Ha.
They sold out in about 3 hours, and we spent the next 6 months doing boring stuff like manufacturing, shipping, fundraising, hiring new team members, and running around with our hair on fire trying to keep up with demand during the holiday rush.
All the while, we've been asked nonstop about re-adding a fitted-sheet-only option for folks who sleep with just a comforter or duvet cover on top. The demand for the "European model" is so great that there was even a 179-comment thread about it on one of our Facebook ads. (Craziest thing we've seen on our ads by a long shot.)
The market has spoken, and this week we officially launched our new, permanent fitted-sheet-only option on SheetsGiggles.com. This time, we made 100 available to preorder at 15% off for March shipping.
That's probably enough, right?

I love top sheets! I have a queen size bed. I use a king size comforter. I like how it hangs over the sides. With a king, my husband gets to have some blanket for a bit longer. I steal it all little by little throughout the night. I need a FLAT only sheet for our bed.
