S&G Eucalyptus Sheets: Making Menopause More Bearable Since 2017
It's no secret that our eucalyptus sheets are great for people suffering from hyperhidrosis, aka excessive sweating (just read these real reviews from the S&G community).
But, did you know eucalyptus sheets are also great for women who are going through menopause?
One of the main (and worst) symptoms of menopause is night sweats and eucalyptus sheets, as you may know, are great at keeping you cool and dry, or what we in the biz call "temperature balancing."
Why eucalyptus lyocell is temperature balancing
Real quickly, here is the science behind that markety-sounding term.
Eucalyptus sheets are naturally moisture absorbent and moisture-wicking. In fact, they retain about 30% of the moisture found in the air, and water is an excellent temperature conductor.
When your body heats up, the moisture in the sheets transfers (wicks) that body heat away from you and into the air. The result is you sleep more comfortably and don't wake up in a pool of your own sweat.
Sounds lovely, right?

So, it's no wonder that women going through menopause have found some sweet relief sleeping in our eucalyptus sheets.
The truth is, when we started making bedding products from eucalyptus we were just aiming to make the best bedding in the biz. As it turns out, we also made bedding that makes people's lives a little better.
We're truly humbled.
Here are some honest reviews from women in the S&G community who sleep better thanks to S&G's eucalyptus bedding.
Help keep me cool
I love the “hand” on these sheets, soft but silky (and my pjs don’t stick - which is key). Plus, they really do help with the night sweats - gotta love menopause! :/ Love that I only have to get a fitted sheet (sleep with a duvet) - maybe the duvet cover will be next! First time wash coming up…
Best sheets ever!!!
Due to early-onset menopause, I have horrible night sweats and would wake up drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. When I heard about these sheets I had hope that they could help. I put these in and haven’t woken up like that since. It’s so great! Plus these sheets are the softest thing I’ve ever felt. I will definitely be buying more of them!!!!
It’s All True
Everything the other reviewers are saying about these sheets is true. They are super silky, but not cloying or staticky. I'm a cold sleeper approaching menopause so I have the super fun sleeping experience of either being buried under fleece blankets and heating pads, or sweating my **** off. I was worried the sheets would be too cool for wintertime, but they are just fine. I actually just canceled a backorder for flannel sheets that I had placed before the S&G arrived. Here's the clincher though: when my perimenopausal body wakes up at 2 AM drenched in sweat and I have to get up and air out, there is NO WET SPOT. You uterus-having 40 somethings know that awful sensation of having to lay back down on your wet spot. Well, I don't know how or why it is physically possible to sweat like that and not get the sheets sopping wet, but guess what. These sheets somehow just don't do that. It's astounding. At first, there was some lint formation at the foot of the bed from us riding bicycles all night, but after the second wash, the lint formation seems to have diminished. We've only had them for about 6 weeks so I hope they hold up over time! We got the dark grey and an extra set of the Prince Purple pillowcases because my partner straight up said he wasn't man enough for a bed that was entirely Prince Purple.
This is some good sheet!
Lifelong insomniac who is now also going through menopause. The sheets have been a lifesaver. Never knew that sheets could help me with my sleep. Thank you!!
Soft, decadent, and keep me cool (great for menopause ;-) ).
Sleeping comfortably is menopause-ible (sorry)
