  • Wait 24 hours for it to decompress fully.
  • Recycle the plastic.
  • Turn the cardboard box into a cool fort (or recycle it).

FAQs

What are the care instructions?

  • For occasional deep cleaning, use your vacuum’s upholstery attachment to vacuum the surface and sides of the mattress.
  • Blot any stains with a gentle cleanser, followed by a clean cloth dipped in cold water. Be careful not to get the mattress too wet.
  • Allow the mattress to dry, and then apply baking soda to the surface of the mattress to soak up any lingering smells. Give it a few hours to fully absorb, then vacuum up the baking soda using the upholstery attachment.
  • Additionally, we recommend a waterproof mattress protector to defend against spills and stains and prolong the life of your mattress.

How long does it take for the mattress to decompress?

About 24 hours. However, most of the decompression will occur in the first hour or so.

Which way does it go?

The side with the Sheets & Giggles logo should be at the foot of the bed. (When you rotate it in 6 to 12 months, make sure the logo is at the head of the bed.)

Do I need to use a boxspring?

The mattress does not require a boxspring, but you’re welcome to use one.

What’s that smell?

Not VOCs. This mattress is VOC-free. If you smell anything at all, it’s most likely the latex. Don’t worry, though, it’s all-natural and not harmful. In the meantime, enjoy that “new bed smell.”

What is your warranty?

We offer a ten-year money-back guarantee for any defects (not including dog nails, etc.) Please contact Customer Care with any issues. Hello@SheetsGiggles.com

What is your return policy?

Try the S&G Eucalyptus Mattress for 100 nights. If you’re not completely satisfied, please contact hi@sheetsgiggles.com, and we'll take care of the refund process for you.

Our hybrid latex + coils mattress is probably unlike anything you've ever slept on before, so we recommend that you sleep on it for at least 30 days before requesting a return.

How often should I rotate my mattress?

Your mattress should be rotated 180 degrees (not flipped) every 6 to 12 months to ensure regular wear.

Can I flip the mattress?

You can’t flip the mattress as it has a top and bottom.

Pillow

Quick Start Guide

Remove the pillow from the vacuum seal and give it about 2 hours to decompress.

Eucalyptus Sheets & Flannel Sheets

FAQs

What are the care instructions?

Wash separately on cold delicates, and do a delicate dry cycle on low heat (hang dry is ideal but not necessary). Bleaching or ironing is not recommended.

For more info, check out this blog post.

Do you recommend using fabric softener or laundry pods?

No. We don’t recommend using fabric softener or laundry pods as they can cause issues with discoloration. We recommend Nellie's Laundry Soda. It's gentle yet effective on all of our bedding.

Should I use dryer sheets or wool balls?

Any static-removing product, like dryer sheets or dryer balls, is preferable because they don’t get into the fabric the way a liquid fabric softener does.

Do I need to hang dry my sheets?

If you have the time and space, hang drying your sheets will save you money (dryers are a big energy hog). Otherwise, just put them on a gentle dry cycle with low heat.

How do you recommend getting stains out of the sheets?

To help remove the stains, we recommend pre-treating with Dawn Dish Soap or a heavy-duty laundry detergent like Tide, Wisk, or Persil for approximately 15 minutes. Apply the solution directly to the stain and work it in by gently rubbing the fabric together with your fingers. This will allow the chemicals to break apart the oil molecules, making them easier to flush out of the fabric fibers.

If you have a white sheet set, we recommend the use of an oxygen-based bleach like OxiClean. We do not recommend using chlorine-based bleach as the chemicals can harm the fabric fibers.

Can I iron the sheets?

We do not recommend using an iron on our sheet sets; we find that steaming works best to help remove any wrinkling.

Can I wash these in hot water and dry them on high heat?

We recommend cold wash to avoid harming the delicate fibers, but the good news is that lyocell is a little more naturally resistant to dust mites than cotton and other fabrics (it evaporates moisture faster, so it creates a more hostile environment for dust mites).

Comforter

You can launder your comforter in the washing machine (though you only need to wash it once every 2-3 months), as we've thermally bonded the filling to avoid clumping. You can also dry clean it every 4-6 months. Spot cleaning with Shout or soap is also acceptable.

FAQs

How do I get rid of the wrinkles in the comforter?

To help remove wrinkles, we would suggest either using a steamer or, if your dryer is large enough, putting the comforter in the dryer on low heat or de-wrinkle setting to get rid of the wrinkles.

Does the comforter have fire retardant chemicals in it?

Our Eucalyptus Lyocell comforter is chemical-free and has no fire retardant chemicals.

Can I dry clean the comforter?

Yes. We recommend going to a Green Dry Cleaner that uses Professional Wet Cleaning or Supercritical CO2. Read more here
