As you all know, we sell bed sheets, so weighing in on racial inequality, police brutality, and systemic racism isn’t exactly our specialty. However, this isn’t a time to be silent or complacent. The shocking events of the past week were yet another stark reminder that our country has a long way to go to achieve freedom and equality for all.
We stand in solidarity with the black community, and we join them in the ongoing fight against racism, discrimination, and injustice.
We believe that this is not a problem without a solution, especially if we work together. It will require substantial policy changes, a radical approach to social and economic inequality, genuine compassion, and a whole lot of listening to fix what is broken.
With that in mind, we have selected some organizations that we believe are part of the solution. We are donating to each one and we hope you will join us.
The NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund fights for structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in America.
Black Lives Matter strives to achieve equality and justice for black people all over the world.
Campaign Zero is an organization that aims to end police brutality in America using research-based policy solutions.

Our CEO also added his name to this letter to members of Congress asking them to end qualified immunity for police officers involved in a shooting. If you're a current or former CEO, founder, or business leader, consider adding your name, as well.
Other ways we can all help:
- Listen to the underrepresented and the silenced, spread their message, and share their stories.
- Speak out against racism and hate whenever you see it, online and especially in real life.
- Donate directly to George Floyd’s GoFundMe page.
- Contribute to the bail fund for arrested protestors.
Nearly 60 years ago, Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote, “...the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Let your voice be heard.
