Sustainable
Designed with the planet in mind. This natural mattress is made with non-toxic, eco-friendly materials, like renewable latex, recycled steel, and eucalyptus fibers. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, polyurethane-free, fiberglass-free, and virgin plastic-free. Ready for some good, clean sleep?
Comfortable
Constructed from coils and latex, the hybrid design combines the best of both worlds – like a dog who can also operate a vacuum – to promote proper spinal alignment, relieve joint pressure, and distribute weight evenly for a solid night’s sleep every night.
Durable
We chose only high-quality, sustainable materials for this sleeping rectangle. Featuring a base layer of up to 1,032 individually wrapped, tempered steel coils and two layers of durable, highly-responsive Talalay latex, this bed is built to last with a stellar 10-year warranty to back it up.
Breathable
The S&G Mattress is made with two layers of Talalay Latex, which is up to 7 times more breathable than foam or other kinds of latex. Not only that, the cover is made with Eucalyptus Lyocell, the same cooling, moisture-wicking material as our signature sheets.

Sustainability without the sus
- Our Eucalyptus Lyocell is certified USDA BioPreferred, which means it's 100% plant-based and 100% biodegradable (aka, microplastic-free)
- The lyocell process recovers and reuses 99.6% of water and solvents over and over and over again.
- Eucalyptus Lyocell sheet sets use 96% less water and 30% less energy than a set of conventionally-grown cotton sheets.
- Eucalyptus trees are naturally insect-repellent, so we don’t spray pesticides or bee-killing insecticides like some other fabrics we know (ahem, cotton).
- Our eucalyptus trees are sourced from responsibly-managed, biodiverse farms.
- For every tree we harvest, we plant two more.
- Nearly all of our bedding products ship in plastic-free, 100% recyclable cardboard boxes (our mattress protector is wrapped in recycled plastic, but we're working on a more sustainable solution - stay tuned).
